Workshop Description

What are you scared of expressing? What are you scared of not expressing?

In this generative online workshop, writers curious about visual expression and artists who want to write with more depth will explore the charged space between word and image.

Through paired writing and drawing prompts, Ariel Gore and Maureen Burdock will guide participants into a creative process where language and image open different doors—and where something new can emerge through their interplay.

This workshop is not about making polished work. It is about listening, noticing, experimenting, and discovering what becomes possible when words and images begin to speak to each other.

You’ll never be asked to share anything you don’t want to share.
